Place the treadmill on a flat, stable surface with enough clearance around it. Connect the power cord and switch on the main power. Attach the safety key to your clothing. Select your preferred program, speed and incline using the console. Start at a low speed, gradually increasing as you warm up. Wear proper running shoes and stay centered on the belt. After finishing, reduce speed to a slow walk, cool down for a few minutes, then stop the machine and remove the safety key. Wipe the surface and running belt, and follow the manual for periodic lubrication and maintenance.
