• Insurance: Consider insuring your shipment for its full value to protect against loss or damage, as this is the responsibility of the shipper. 
• Documentation: You may need to provide details such as the IMEI numbers of the phone's SIM cards, the phone's serial number, and a copy of the mobile bill. 

• Check Customs Regulations: India has strict customs regulations for electronics, which can restrict the import of used phones and may require import permits for new ones. 
• Choose a Specialist Courier: Services like DHL offer services for shipping electronics and can provide guidance on customs and permits. 
• Follow Import Rules: You may need to follow rules like the limit of two electronic products per person per day when importing into India. 
• Prohibited Items: Be aware that certain types of electronics, such as used or refurbished phones, are not allowed for import.
